Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representa- 1 tives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, 2 SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE. 3 This Act may be cited as the ‘‘Identifying PFAS at 4 Water Infrastructure Sites Act’’. 5 SEC. 2. INVENTORY OF PFAS AT CORPS FACILITIES. 6 Not later than 12 months after the date of enactment 7 of this section, the Secretary of the Army, acting through 8 VerDate Sep 11 2014 05:35 Jul 09, 2020 Jkt 099200 PO 00000 Frm 00001 Fmt 6652 Sfmt 6201 E:\BILLS\H7243.IH H7243 kjohnson on DSK79L0C42PROD with BILLS 2 •HR 7243 IH the Chief of Engineers, shall submit to the Committee on 1 Transportation and Infrastructure of the House of Rep- 2 resentatives and the Committee on Environment and Pub- 3 lic Works of the Senate a report that identifies— 4 (1) each facility owned or operated by the 5 Corps of Engineers at which there is a release or 6 threatened release of a perfluoroalkyl or polyfluoro- 7 alkyl substance; 8 (2) the nature and extent of each such release 9 or threatened release, including any associated po- 10 tential pathway for human exposure to the applica- 11 ble substance; and 12 (3) measures taken by the Secretary to control, 13 remove, or remediate such substances, or otherwise 14 reduce the risk of human exposure to such sub- 15 stances. 16 SEC. 3.
