To authorize use of amounts in My Career Advancement
Account Program accounts for fines for breaking employ-
ment contracts in connection with permanent changes
of station.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representa-

tives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,

SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE.

This Act may be cited as the ‘‘Military Spouse Relo-
4
cation and Contract Reimbursement Act’’.

CHANGES OF STATION.

(a) IN GENERAL.—Amounts in the My Career Ad-
7
vancement Account (MyCAA) Program account of a mili-
8
tary spouse may be used to reimburse the military spouse
9
for payment by the military spouse of a fine imposed on
10
the military spouse by an employer in connection with the
11
breaking of an employment contract if the military spouse
12
breaks the employment contract for purposes of relocation
13
with the member of the Armed Forces concerned due to
14
a permanent change of station.

(b) LIMITATION.—The total amount used by a mili-
16
tary spouse for a reimbursement under subsection (a) may
17
not exceed the lesser of—
18
(1) the amount in the My Career Advancement
19
Account Program account of the military spouse at
20
the time of the reimbursement; or
21
(2) $4,000.
