concurrent resolution; which was considered and agreed to
CONCURRENT RESOLUTION
To establish the Joint Congressional Committee on Inaugural
Ceremonies for the inauguration of the President-elect
and Vice President-elect of the United States on January
20, 2021.

SECTION 1. ESTABLISHMENT OF JOINT COMMITTEE.

There is established a Joint Congressional Committee
4
on Inaugural Ceremonies (in this resolution referred to as
5
the ‘‘joint committee’’) consisting of 3 Senators and 3
6
Members of the House of Representatives, to be appointed
7
by the President of the Senate and the Speaker of the

House of Representatives, respectively. The joint com-

mittee is authorized to make the necessary arrangements
2
for the inauguration of the President-elect and Vice Presi-
3
dent-elect of the United States on January 20, 2021.

SEC. 2. SUPPORT OF THE JOINT COMMITTEE.

The joint committee—
6
(1) is authorized to utilize appropriate equip-
7
ment and the services of appropriate personnel of
8
departments and agencies of the Federal Govern-
9
ment, under arrangements between the joint com-
10
mittee and the heads of those departments and
11
agencies, in connection with the inaugural pro-
12
ceedings and ceremonies; and
13
(2) may accept gifts and donations of goods
14
and services to carry out its responsibilities.
