A BILL
To exclude from income and resources certain Federal pan-
demic unemployment compensation for the purpose of
determining income under the supplemental nutrition as-
sistance program.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representa-

tives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,

SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE.

This Act may be cited as the ‘‘Food for Working
4
Families Act of 2020’’.

SEC. 2. FEDERAL PANDEMIC UNEMPLOYMENT COMPENSA-

TION INCOME AND RESOURCES DISREGARD

FOR SNAP.

The monthly equivalent of any Federal pandemic un-
4
employment compensation paid to an individual under sec-
5
tion 2104 of the CARES Act (Public Law 116–136) shall
6
be excluded for the purpose of determining income and
7
resources under the Food and Nutrition Act of 2008 (7
8
U.S.C. 2011 et seq.).
