ELIGIBILITY OF PUBLIC HOSPITALS FOR LOANS 1 UNDER THE PAYCHECK PROTECTION PRO- 2 GRAM. 3 Section 7(a)(36) of the Small Business Act (15 4 U.S.C. 636(a)(36)) is amended— 5 (1) in subparagraph (A)— 6 (A) by redesignating clauses (ii) through 7 (ix) as clauses (iii) through (x), respectively; 8 and 9 (B) by inserting after clause (i) the fol- 10 lowing: 11 ‘‘(ii) the term ‘covered hospital’ means 12 a public hospital that is owned or operated 13 by a State or local government;’’; and 14 (2) in subparagraph (D)— 15 (A) in the subparagraph heading, by in- 16 serting ‘‘, HOSPITALS,’’ after ‘‘BUSINESSES’’; 17 (B) in clause (i), by inserting ‘‘covered 18 hospital,’’ after ‘‘veterans organization,’’ each 19 place that term appears; 20 (C) in clause (v), by inserting ‘‘covered 21 hospital,’’ after ‘‘veterans organization,’’; and 22 (D) in clause (vi), by striking ‘‘organiza- 23 tion and’’ and inserting ‘‘organization, a cov- 24 ered hospital, and’’. 25 Æ VerDate Sep 11 2014 15:42 Jun 03, 2020 Jkt 099200 PO 00000 Frm 00002 Fmt 6652 Sfmt 6301 E:\BILLS\H6569.IH H6569 pamtmann on DSKBC07HB2PROD with BILLS
