A BILL
To direct the President to detail Peace Corps volunteers
to the Federal Emergency Management Agency, and for
other purposes.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representa-

tives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,

SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE.

This Act may be cited as the ‘‘Mobilizing America
4
to Help Act’’.

FEDERAL EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT AGEN-

CY.

The President shall exercise the authority provided
4
for in section 5(h) of the Peace Corps Act (22 U.S.C.
5
2504(h)) to detail or assign Peace Corps volunteers or
6
otherwise make such volunteers available to the Federal
7
Emergency Management Agency during an emergency pe-
8
riod (as defined in section 1135(g)(1) of the Social Secu-
9
rity Act (42 U.S.C. 1320b–5(g)(1))) resulting from the
10
COVID-19 pandemic.
