OUTER BURIAL RECEPTACLES FOR EACH NEW 1 GRAVE IN CEMETERIES THAT ARE THE SUB- 2 JECTS OF CERTAIN GRANTS MADE BY THE 3 SECRETARY OF VETERANS AFFAIRS. 4 Section 2306(e) of title 38, United States Code, is 5 amended— 6 (1) in paragraph (1)(A), by inserting ‘‘, or in 7 a cemetery that is the subject of a grant to a State 8 or a tribal organization under section 2408 of this 9 title,’’ after ‘‘National Cemetery Administration’’; 10 and 11 (2) by striking paragraph (2) and inserting the 12 following new paragraph (2): 13 ‘‘(2) The use of outer burial receptacles in— 14 ‘‘(A) a cemetery under the control of the Na- 15 tional Cemetery Administration or in a cemetery 16 that is the subject of a grant to a State or a tribal 17 organization under section 2408 of this title shall be 18 in accordance with regulations or procedures ap- 19 proved by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs; and 20 ‘‘(B) Arlington National Cemetery shall be in 21 accordance with regulations or procedures approved 22 by the Secretary of the Army.’’. 23 Æ VerDate Sep 11 2014 20:51 Mar 05, 2020 Jkt 099200 PO 00000 Frm 00002 Fmt 6652 Sfmt 6301 E:\BILLS\H6060.IH H6060 pamtmann on DSKBC07HB2PROD with BILLS
