DESIGNATION OF ADDITIONAL WILDERNESS, ARC- 1 TIC NATIONAL WILDLIFE REFUGE, ALASKA. 2 (a) DESIGNATION.—Notwithstanding any other pro- 3 vision of law, a portion of the Arctic National Wildlife Ref- 4 uge in Alaska comprising approximately 1,559,538 acres, 5 as generally depicted on the map entitled ‘‘Arctic National 6 Wildlife Refuge, Coastal Plain Proposed Wilderness’’, 7 dated October 20, 2015, labeled with Map ID 03–0172, 8 and available for inspection in the offices of the Secretary 9 of the Interior, is designated as a component of the Na- 10 tional Wilderness Preservation System under the Wilder- 11 ness Act (16 U.S.C. 1131 et seq.). 12 (b) ADMINISTRATION.—The Secretary of the Interior 13 shall administer the area designated as wilderness by sub- 14 section (a) in accordance with the Wilderness Act as part 15 of the wilderness area already in existence within the Arc- 16 tic National Wildlife Refuge as of the date of the enact- 17 ment of this Act. 18 Æ VerDate Sep 11 2014 20:49 Mar 03, 2020 Jkt 099200 PO 00000 Frm 00002 Fmt 6652 Sfmt 6301 E:\BILLS\H5999.IH H5999 pamtmann on DSKBC07HB2PROD with BILLS
