IMPROVING ACCESS TO SKILLED NURSING FACIL- 1 ITY SERVICES FOR HEMOPHILIA PATIENTS. 2 (a) IN GENERAL.—Section 1888(e)(2)(A)(iii) of the 3 Social Security Act (42 U.S.C. 1395yy(e)(2)(A)(iii)) is 4 amended by adding at the end the following: 5 ‘‘(VI) Blood clotting factors and 6 other medications indicated for the 7 treatment of patients with hemophilia 8 and other bleeding disorders (identi- 9 fied as of January 1, 2020, by 10 HCPCS codes J7170, J7175, J7179, 11 J7180–J7183, J7185–J7203, J7205, 12 J7207, J7209–J7211 (and as subse- 13 quently modified by the Secretary)) 14 and the separate payment amount for 15 items and services related to the fur- 16 nishing of such factors under section 17 1842(o)(5)(C).’’. 18 (b) EFFECTIVE DATE.—The amendments made by 19 subsection (a) shall apply to items and services furnished 20 on or after January 1, 2021. 21 Æ VerDate Sep 11 2014 23:47 Feb 25, 2020 Jkt 099200 PO 00000 Frm 00002 Fmt 6652 Sfmt 6301 E:\BILLS\H5952.IH H5952 pamtmann on DSKBC07HB2PROD with BILLS
