to the Committee on Veterans’ Affairs
A BILL
To direct the Secretary of Veterans Affairs to provide abor-
tion counseling to a veteran who has an unwanted preg-
nancy.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representa-

tives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,

SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE.

This Act may be cited as the ‘‘Reproductive Health
4
Information for Veterans Act’’.
5
SEC. 2. ABORTION COUNSELING.

The Secretary of Veterans Affairs shall provide abor-
7
tion counseling to a veteran who has an unwanted preg-
8
nancy. Such counseling shall include—

(1) options for the veteran regarding unwanted
1
pregnancy, including termination;
2
(2) accurate health information based on the
3
health of the veteran regarding options described in
4
paragraph (1); and
5
(3) information regarding the location nearest
6
to the residence of the veteran where the veteran
7
may receive safe medical or surgical termination of
8
the unwanted pregnancy.
