To repeal the small business loan data collection requirement
established by section 1071 of the Dodd-Frank Wall
Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representa-

tives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,

SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE.

This Act may be cited as the ‘‘Preserving Small Busi-
4
ness Lending Act of 2020’’.

SEC. 2. REPEAL OF SMALL BUSINESS LOAN DATA COLLEC-
6
TION REQUIREMENT.

(a) IN GENERAL.—Public Law 93–495 is amended—
8
(1) in section 701(b) (15 U.S.C. 1691(b))—

striking the item relating to section 1071.
