SHORT TITLE. 1 This Act may be cited as the ‘‘United States Anti- 2 Doping Agency Reauthorization Act of 2020’’. 3 SEC. 2. PROMOTION OF YOUTH SPORTS. 4 Section 701(b) of the Office of National Drug Control 5 Policy Reauthorization Act of 2006 (21 U.S.C. 2001(b)) 6 is amended— 7 (1) in paragraph (4), by striking the period at 8 the end and inserting ‘‘; and’’; and 9 (2) by adding at the end the following: 10 ‘‘(5) promote a positive youth sport experience 11 by using a portion of its funding to provide edu- 12 cational materials on sportsmanship, character 13 building, and healthy performance for athletes, par- 14 ents, and coaches participating in youth sports.’’. 15 SEC. 3. AUTHORIZATION OF APPROPRIATIONS. 16 Section 703 of the Office of National Drug Control 17 Policy Reauthorization Act of 2006 (21 U.S.C. 2003) is 18 amended to read as follows: 19 ‘‘SEC. 703. COORDINATION AND SHARING OF INFORMATION 6 WITH USADA. 7 (a) INFORMATION SHARING.—Except as otherwise 8 prohibited by law and except in cases in which the integ- 9 rity of a criminal investigation would be affected, in fur- 10 therance of the obligation of the United States under Arti- 11 cle 7 of the Convention, the Attorney General, the Sec- 12 retary of Homeland Security, and the Commissioner of 13 Food and Drugs shall coordinate with the United States 14 Anti-Doping Agency with regard to any effort to prevent 15 the use of performance-enhancing drugs or prohibit per- 16 formance-enhancing methods by sharing with the United 17 States Anti-Doping Agency all information which may be 18 relevant to preventing the use of such performance-en- 19 hancing drugs or prohibiting such performance-enhancing 20 methods. 21 (b) CONVENTION DEFINED.—In this section, the 22 term ‘‘Convention’’ means the United Nations Edu- 23 cational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization Inter- 24 national Convention Against Doping in Sport done at 25 VerDate Sep 11 2014 05:56 Oct 01, 2020 Jkt 099200 PO 00000 Frm 00003 Fmt 6652 Sfmt 6201 E:\BILLS\H5373.RFS H5373 kjohnson on DSK79L0C42PROD with BILLS 4 HR 5373 RFS Paris October 19, 2005, and ratified by the United States 1 in 2008. 2 Passed the House of Representatives September 29, 2020.
