REAUTHORIZATION OF HEALTH PROFESSIONS 1 WORKFORCE PROGRAMS. 2 Title VII of the Public Health Service Act (42 U.S.C. 3 292 et seq.) is amended— 4 (1) in section 736 (42 U.S.C. 293), by striking 5 subsection (i) and inserting the following: 6 ‘‘(i) AUTHORIZATION OF APPROPRIATIONS.—To 7 carry out this section, there is authorized to be appro- 8 priated $23,711,000 for each of fiscal years 2020 through 9 2024.’’; 10 (2) in section 740 (42 U.S.C. 293d)— 11 (A) in subsection (a), by striking 12 ‘‘$51,000,000 for fiscal year 2010, and such 13 sums as may be necessary for each of the fiscal 14 years 2011 through 2014’’ and inserting 15 ‘‘$48,970,000 for each of fiscal years 2020 16 through 2024’’; and 5 (12) in section 770(a) (42 U.S.C. 295e(a)), by 6 striking ‘‘$43,000,000 for fiscal year 2011, and such 7 sums as may be necessary for each of the fiscal 8 years 2012 through 2015’’ and inserting 9 ‘‘$17,000,000 for each of fiscal years 2020 through 10 2024’’. 11 SECTION 1.
