RESEARCH ENDOWMENTS AT BOTH CURRENT AND 1 FORMER CENTERS OF EXCELLENCE. 2 Paragraph (1) of section 464z–3(h) of the Public 3 Health Service Act (42 U.S.C. 285t(h)) is amended to 4 read as follows: 5 ‘‘(1) IN GENERAL.—The Director of the Insti- 6 tute may carry out a program to facilitate minority 7 health disparities research and other health dispari- 8 ties research by providing for research endow- 9 ments— 10 ‘‘(A) at current or former centers of excel- 11 lence under section 736; and 12 ‘‘(B) at current or former centers of excel- 13 lence under section 464z–4.’’. 14 Passed the House of Representatives November 17, 2020.
