Section 163(a)(3)(A) of the Trade Act of 1974 (19

U.S.C. 2213(a)(3)(A)) is amended—
5
(1) by redesignating clause (iv) as clause (v);
6
(2) in clause (iii), by striking ‘‘and’’ at the end;
7
and
8
(3) by inserting after clause (iii) the following:
9
‘‘(iv) how such objectives and priorities
10
support and advance the objectives of—
11
‘‘(I) the national defense strategy
12
under 113(g) of title 10, United States
13
Code; and
14
‘‘(II) the national security strategy of
15
the United States under section 108 of the
16
National Security Act of 1947 (50 U.S.C.
17
3043); and’’.
