held company owned by the President, and for other
purposes.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representa-

tives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,

SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE.

This Act may be cited as the ‘‘Disclosing Official
4
Spending at Presidential Businesses Act’’.
5
SEC. 2. DISCLOSURE OF EXPENDITURE OF FEDERAL FUNDS
6
AT BUSINESSES OWNED BY THE PRESIDENT.

(a) IN GENERAL.—The head of each Executive agen-
8
cy shall submit a quarterly report to the Director of the
9
Office of Government Ethics listing each instance, during

the most recently ended quarter, that the Executive agen-

cy obligated or expended Federal funds with any privately
2
held company that is owned, either in whole or in part,
3
directly or indirectly, including through trusts, by the
4
President. With respect to each such instance, the report
5
shall include—
6
(1) the amount of the obligation or expenditure;
7
and
8
(2) the name of the company.

(b) PUBLICATION.—Not later than 10 days after re-
10
ceiving a report under subsection (a), the Director shall
11
publish the report on the Office’s public internet website.
12
(c) DEFINITION OF EXECUTIVE AGENCY.—In this
13
section, the term ‘‘Executive agency’’ has the meaning
14
given that term in section 105 of title 5, United States
15
Code, and includes the United States Postal Service, the
16
Postal Regulatory Commission, the White House, and the
17
Executive Office of the President.
