which was read twice and referred to the Select Committee on Intelligence
A BILL
To require the Director of National Intelligence to submit
to Congress a report on the purpose, scope, and means
of expanded Chinese influence in international organiza-
tions, and for other purposes.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representa-

tives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,

SECTION 1. DIRECTOR OF NATIONAL INTELLIGENCE RE-

PORT ON CHINESE INFLUENCE IN INTER-
4
NATIONAL ORGANIZATIONS.

(a) REPORT REQUIRED.—Not later than 180 days
6
after the date of the enactment of this Act, the Director
7
of National Intelligence shall submit to Congress a report

(b) CONTENTS.—The report required by subsection
3
(a) shall include discussion of the following:
4
(1) The purpose of expanded influence de-
5
scribed in subsection (a).
6
(2) The scope of such expanded influence.
7
(3) The tactics and means employed by China
8
to achieve such expanded influence.
9
(4) The effect of such expanded influence on
10
international organizations.
11
(c) FORM.—The report submitted under subsection
12
(a) shall be submitted in unclassified form, but may in-
13
clude a classified annex.
