A BILL
To take certain lands in California into trust for the benefit
of the Agua Caliente Band of Cahuilla Indians, and
for other purposes.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representa-

tives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,

SECTION 1. LANDS TO BE TAKEN INTO TRUST.

(a) IN GENERAL.—The approximately 2,560 acres of
4
land owned by the Agua Caliente Band of Cahuilla Indi-
5
ans, numbered 16, 21, 27, and 29 and generally depicted
6
as ‘‘BLM Exchange Lands (2,560 Acres)’’ on the map ti-
7
tled ‘‘ACBCI/BLM LAND EXCHANGE’’ is hereby taken
8
into trust for the benefit of the Agua Caliente Band of
9
Cahuilla Indians.

(b) LANDS PART OF RESERVATION.—Lands taken
1
into trust by this section shall be part of the Tribe’s res-
2
ervation and shall be administered in accordance with the
3
laws and regulations generally applicable to property held
4
in trust by the United States for an Indian tribe.
5
(c) GAMING PROHIBITED.—Lands taken into trust
6
by this section for the benefit of the Agua Caliente Band
7
of Cahuilla Indians shall not be eligible for gaming under
8
the Indian Gaming Regulatory Act (25 U.S.C. 2701 et
9
seq.).
