Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representa-

tives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,
2
SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE.
3
This Act may be cited as the ‘‘Brand USA Extension
4
Act’’.
5
SEC. 2. THE CORPORATION FOR TRAVEL PROMOTION.
6
Subsection (b) of the Travel Promotion Act of 2009 (22
7
U.S.C. 2131(b)) is amended—
8
(1) in paragraph (2)(A)—
9
(A) in clause (ii), by inserting ‘‘or
10
foodservice’’ after ‘‘restaurant’’;
11
(B) in clause (v), by inserting ‘‘, such as
12
outdoor recreation’’ before the semicolon at the
13
end; and
14
(C) in clause (viii), by inserting ‘‘commer-
15
cial or private’’ before ‘‘passenger air sector’’;
16
(2) in paragraph (5)(A)—
17
(A) in clause (iii), by inserting ‘‘speaking
18
conventions,
sales
missions,’’
after
‘‘trade
19
shows,’’;
20
(B) in clause (iv), by striking ‘‘and’’ at the
21
end;
22
(C) in clause (v), by striking the period at
23
the end and inserting ‘‘; and’’; and
24
(D) by adding at the end the following:

SEC. 3. ACCOUNTABILITY MEASURES.

Subsection (c) of the Travel Promotion Act of 2009 (22
8
U.S.C. 2131(c)) is amended—
9
(1) in paragraph (2), by striking ‘‘$500,000’’
10
and inserting ‘‘$450,000’’; and
11
(2) in paragraph (3)—
12
(A) by redesignating subparagraph (I) as
13
subparagraph (K);
14
(B) in subparagraph (H)(iii), by striking
15
‘‘and’’ at the end; and
16
(C)
by
inserting
after
subparagraph
17
(H)(iii) the following:
18
‘‘(I) a list of countries the Corporation
19
identifies as emerging markets for tourism to the
20
United States;
21
‘‘(J) a description of the efforts the Corpora-
22
tion has made to promote tourism to rural areas
23
of the United States; and’’.

SEC. 4. EXTENSION OF FUNDING FOR BRAND USA.

Subsection (d) of the Travel Promotion Act of 2009
2
(22 U.S.C. 2131(d)) is amended—
3
(1) in paragraph (2)(B), by striking ‘‘2020’’ and
4
inserting ‘‘2027’’;
5
(2) in paragraph (3)(B)(ii), by striking ‘‘70 per-
6
cent’’ and inserting ‘‘50 percent’’; and
7
(3) in paragraph (4)(B), by striking ‘‘2020’’ and
8
inserting ‘‘2027’’.

SEC. 5. PERFORMANCE PLAN.

Not later than 90 days after the date of the enactment
11
of this Act, the Corporation for Travel Promotion shall
12
make the performance metrics established pursuant to sub-
13
section (f)(1)(A) of the Travel Promotion Act of 2009 (22
14
U.S.C. 2131(f)(1)(A)) publicly available on the website of
15
the Corporation.

SEC. 6. ELECTRONIC SYSTEM FOR TRAVEL AUTHORIZATION
17
FEE INCREASE.
18
Section 217(h)(3)(B)(i)(I) of the Immigration and Na-
19
tionality Act (8 U.S.C. 1187(h)(3)(B)(i)(I)) is amended by
20
striking ‘‘$10’’ and inserting ‘‘$17’’.
