Housing Access for Blind Veterans Act

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representa- 1 tives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, 2 SECTION 1. AUTHORITY OF SECRETARY OF VETERANS AFFAIRS 1 TO ASSIST BLIND VETERANS WHO HAVE NOT 2 LOST USE OF A LEG IN ACQUIRING SPE- 3 CIALLY ADAPTED HOUSING. 4 Section 2101(a)(2)(B)(ii) of title 38, United States 5 Code, is amended— 6 (1) in the matter preceding subclause (I), by 7 striking ‘‘due to—’’ and inserting ‘‘due to blindness 8 in both eyes, having central visual acuity of 20/200 9 or less in the better eye with the use of a standard 10 correcting lens.
