Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representa- 1 tives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, 2 SECTION 1. REINSTATEMENT OF AUTHORITY TO MAKE FED- 1 ERAL DIRECT STAFFORD LOANS TO GRAD- 2 UATE AND PROFESSIONAL STUDENTS. 3 Section 455(a)(3) of the Higher Education Act of 4 1965 (20 U.S.C. 1087e(a)(3)) is amended— 5 (1) in the paragraph heading, by inserting 6 ‘‘TEMPORARY’’ before ‘‘TERMINATION’’; and 7 (2) in subparagraph (A), in the matter pre- 8 ceding clause (i), by inserting ‘‘, and ending on or 9 before June 30, 2019’’ after ‘‘2012’’. 10 SEC. 3.
