verification of eligible status.

Mrs. GILLIBRAND introduced the following bill; which was read twice and
referred to the Committee on Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs
A BILL
To prohibit the Secretary of Housing and Urban Develop-
ment from implementing, administering, or enforcing a
proposed rule relating to verification of eligible status.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representa-

tives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,

SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE.

This Act may be cited as the ‘‘Keeping Families To-
4
gether Act of 2019’’.

SEC. 2. PROHIBITION.

Notwithstanding any other provision of law, the Sec-
7
retary of Housing and Urban Development may not imple-
8
ment, administer, enforce, or in any manner make effec-
