INCLUSION ON THE VIETNAM VETERANS MEMO- 1 RIAL WALL OF THE NAMES OF THE SOLDIERS 2 WHO DIED ON FLYING TIGER FLIGHT 739 ON 3 MARCH 16, 1962. 4 (a) IN GENERAL.—Not later than one year after the 5 date of the enactment of this Act, the Secretary of Defense 6 shall authorize the inclusion on the Vietnam Veterans Me- 7 morial Wall in the District of Columbia of the names of 8 the 93 soldiers who died on Flying Tiger Flight 739 when 9 it crashed in the Pacific Ocean en route to Vietnam on 10 March 16, 1962. 11 (b) REQUIRED CONSULTATION.—The Secretary of 12 Defense shall consult with the Secretary of the Interior, 13 the American Battle Monuments Commission, and other 14 applicable authorities with respect to any adjustments to 15 the nomenclature and placement of names pursuant to 16 subsection (a) to address any space limitations on the 17 placement of additional names on the Vietnam Veterans 18 Memorial Wall. 19 (c) NONAPPLICABILITY OF COMMEMORATIVE WORKS 20 ACT.—Chapter 89 of title 40, United States Code (com- 21 monly known as the ‘‘Commemorative Works Act’’), shall 22 not apply to any activities carried out under subsection 23 (a) or (b). 24 Æ VerDate Sep 11 2014 05:16 Jun 19, 2019 Jkt 089200 PO 00000 Frm 00002 Fmt 6652 Sfmt 6301 E:\BILLS\S1891.IS S1891 kjohnson on DSK79L0C42 with BILLS
