A BILL
To require the Attorney General to study whether an individ-
ual’s history of domestic violence can be used to deter-
mine the likelihood of such individual committing a mass
shooting.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representa-

tives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,

SECTION 1. STUDY ON WHETHER AN INDIVIDUAL’S HIS-

TORY OF DOMESTIC VIOLENCE CAN BE USED

TO DETERMINE THE LIKELIHOOD OF SUCH

INDIVIDUAL COMMITTING A MASS SHOOTING.

Not later than 12 months after the date of enactment
5
of this Act, the Attorney General of the United States
6
shall complete a study and submit a report to the Con-
7
gress on whether an individual’s history of domestic vio-
8
lence can be used to determine the likelihood of such indi-
9
vidual committing a mass shooting.
