Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representa- 1 tives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, 2 SECTION 1. EXPANSION OF ELIGIBILITY FOR THE MY CAREER 1 ADVANCEMENT ACCOUNT PROGRAM TO CER- 2 TAIN MILITARY SPOUSES. 3 (a) ELIGIBILITY FOR PARTICIPANTS WHOSE 4 SPOUSES RECEIVE PROMOTIONS.—A military spouse who 5 is participating in the My Career Advancement Account 6 program of the Department of Defense (in this section re- 7 ferred to as the ‘‘Program’’) may not become ineligible 8 for the Program solely because the member of the Armed 9 Forces to whom the military spouse is married receives 10 a promotion in grade. 11 (b) REPORT REQUIRED.—Not later than 180 days 12 after the date of the enactment of this Act, the Secretary 13 of Defense shall submit to Congress a report regarding 14 the Program.
