Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representa- 1 tives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, 2 SECTION 1. PERMANENT RESIDENT STATUS FOR YESENIA 3 CAMACHO ALVAREZ, OMAR AUGUSTIN 4 CAMACHO ALVAREZ, AND IRMA ALVAREZ 5 TORRES. 6 (a) IN GENERAL.—Notwithstanding subsections (a) 7 and (b) of section 201 of the Immigration and Nationality 8 Act, Yesenia Camacho Alvarez, Omar Augustin Camacho 9 Alvarez, and Irma Alvarez Torres shall be eligible for 10 VerDate Sep 11 2014 01:26 Jun 04, 2019 Jkt 089200 PO 00000 Frm 00001 Fmt 6652 Sfmt 6201 E:\BILLS\H3075.IH H3075 kjohnson on DSK79L0C42 with BILLS 2 •HR 3075 IH issuance of an immigrant visa or for adjustment of status 1 to that of an alien lawfully admitted for permanent resi- 2 dence upon filing an application for issuance of an immi- 3 grant visa under section 204 of such Act or for adjustment 4 of status to lawful permanent resident. 5 (b) ADJUSTMENT OF STATUS.—If Yesenia Camacho 6 Alvarez, Omar Augustin Camacho Alvarez, and Irma Al- 7 varez Torres enter the United States before the filing 8 deadline specified in subsection (d), they shall be consid- 9 ered to have entered and remained lawfully and shall, if 10 otherwise eligible, be eligible for adjustment of status 11 under section 245 of the Immigration and Nationality Act 12 as of the date of the enactment of this Act. 13 (c) WAIVER OF GROUNDS FOR REMOVAL OR DENIAL 14 OF ADMISSION.— 15 (1) IN GENERAL.—Notwithstanding sections 16 212(a) and 237(a) of the Immigration and Nation- 17 ality Act, Yesenia Camacho Alvarez, Omar Augustin 18 Camacho Alvarez, and Irma Alvarez Torres may not 19 be removed from the United States, denied admis- 20 sion to the United States, or considered ineligible for 21 lawful permanent residence in the United States by 22 reason of any ground for removal or denial of admis- 23 sion that is reflected in the records of the Depart- 24 ment of Homeland Security or the Visa Office of the 25 VerDate Sep 11 2014 01:26 Jun 04, 2019 Jkt 089200 PO 00000 Frm 00002 Fmt 6652 Sfmt 6201 E:\BILLS\H3075.IH H3075 kjohnson on DSK79L0C42 with BILLS 3 •HR 3075 IH Department of State on the date of the enactment 1 of this Act. 2 (2) RESCISSION OF OUTSTANDING ORDER OF 3 REMOVAL.—The Secretary of Homeland Security 4 shall rescind any outstanding order of removal or de- 5 portation, or any finding of inadmissibility or de- 6 portability, that has been entered against Yesenia 7 Camacho Alvarez, Omar Augustin Camacho Alvarez, 8 and Irma Alvarez Torres by reason of any ground 9 described in paragraph (1). 10 (d) DEADLINE FOR APPLICATION AND PAYMENT OF 11 FEES.—Subsections (a) and (b) shall apply only if the ap- 12 plication for issuance of an immigrant visa or the applica- 13 tion for adjustment of status is filed with appropriate fees 14 within 2 years after the date of the enactment of this Act. 15 (e) REDUCTION OF IMMIGRANT VISA NUMBER.— 16 Upon the granting of an immigrant visa or permanent res- 17 idence to Yesenia Camacho Alvarez, Omar Augustin 18 Camacho Alvarez, and Irma Alvarez Torres, the Secretary 19 of State shall instruct the proper officer to reduce by 3, 20 during the current or next following fiscal year, the total 21 number of immigrant visas that are made available to na- 22 tives of the country of the alien’s birth under section 23 203(a) of the Immigration and Nationality Act or, if appli- 24 cable, the total number of immigrant visas that are made 25 VerDate Sep 11 2014 01:26 Jun 04, 2019 Jkt 089200 PO 00000 Frm 00003 Fmt 6652 Sfmt 6201 E:\BILLS\H3075.IH H3075 kjohnson on DSK79L0C42 with BILLS 4 •HR 3075 IH available to natives of the country of the alien’s birth 1 under section 202(e) of such Act. 2 Æ VerDate Sep 11 2014 01:26 Jun 04, 2019 Jkt 089200 PO 00000 Frm 00004 Fmt 6652 Sfmt 6301 E:\BILLS\H3075.IH H3075 kjohnson on DSK79L0C42 with BILLS
