Resolved by the Senate and House of Representatives 1 of the United States of America in Congress assembled, 2 That the issuance of an export license with respect to the 3 following proposed export to the United Arab Emirates 4 and United Kingdom is prohibited: 5 (1) The transfer to the United Arab Emirates 6 and United Kingdom of the following export of cer- 7 tain defense articles, including technical data and 8 defense services, described in Executive Communica- 9 tion 1426 (EC–1426) submitted to Congress pursu- 10 ant to section 36(c) of the Arms Export Control Act 11 (22 U.S.C. 2776(c)) and published in the Congres- 12 sional Record on June 3, 2019: The proposal to 13 amend a technical assistance agreement to support 14 the installation, integration, modification, mainte- 15 2 † SJ 39 ES nance, and repair of F110–GE–132 gas turbine en- 1 gines for use in F–16 Aircraft by the General Head- 2 quarters of the Armed Forces of the United Arab 3 Emirates. 4 Passed the Senate June 20, 2019.
