Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representa-

SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE.

This Act may be cited as the ‘‘National Vaccine In-

jury Compensation Program Improvement Act of 2019’’.

Section 2112(c)(1) of the Public Health Service Act
4
(42 U.S.C. 300aa–12(c)(1)) is amended by striking ‘‘not
5
more than 8 special masters’’ and inserting ‘‘not more
6
than 16 special masters’’.
