AN ACT
To extend the authority for the establishment of a commemo-
rative work in honor of Gold Star Mothers Families,
and for other purposes.

SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE.

This Act may be cited as the ‘‘Gold Star Mothers
2
Families National Monument Extension Act’’.

SEC. 2. EXTENSION OF AUTHORITY FOR ESTABLISHMENT
4
OF COMMEMORATIVE WORK.

Notwithstanding section 8903(e) of title 40, United
6
States Code, the authority provided by section 2859 of the
7
Military Construction Authorization Act for Fiscal Year
8
2013 (division B of Public Law 112–239; 126 Stat. 2164;
9
40 U.S.C. 8903 note) shall continue to apply through Jan-
10
uary 2, 2024.

SEC. 3. DETERMINATION OF BUDGETARY EFFECTS.

The budgetary effects of this Act, for the purpose of
13
complying with the Statutory Pay-As-You-Go Act of 2010,
14
shall be determined by reference to the latest statement
15
titled ‘‘Budgetary Effects of PAYGO Legislation’’ for this
16
Act, submitted for printing in the Congressional Record
17
by the Chairman of the House Budget Committee, pro-
18
vided that such statement has been submitted prior to the
19
vote on passage.
