was read twice and referred to the Committee on Environment and Public

A BILL
To revise the boundaries of a unit of the John H. Chafee
Coastal Barrier Resources System in Topsail, North
Carolina, and for other purposes.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representa-

tives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,

SECTION 1. CORRECTION TO MAP.
3
(a) IN GENERAL.—Not later than 30 days after the
4
date of enactment of this Act, the Secretary of the Interior
5
shall make such corrections to the map described in sub-
6
section (b) as are necessary to exclude lots from unit L06
7
of the John H. Chafee Coastal Barrier Resources System
8
in North Topsail Beach, North Carolina, that were serv-

iced by infrastructure, as described in subsection (c), in-

stalled along North Carolina Highway 210 and New River
2
Inlet Road as of the date of enactment of the Coastal Bar-
3
rier Resources Act (16 U.S.C. 3501 et seq.).

(b) MAPS DESCRIBED.—The map referred to in sub-
5
section (a) is a map that—
6
(1) is included in a set of maps as part of the
7
John H. Chafee Coastal Barrier Resources System
8
entitled ‘‘John H. Chafee Coastal Barrier Resources
9
System’’ and dated December 21, 2018; and
10
(2) relates to unit L06 of the John H. Chafee
11
Coastal Barrier Resources System.

(c) INFRASTRUCTURE DESCRIBED.—

(1) IN GENERAL.—Subject to paragraph (2),
14
the infrastructure referred to in subsection (a) is in-
15
frastructure that meets the criteria described in sec-
16
tion 4(g)(1)(B) of the Coastal Barrier Resources Act
17
(16 U.S.C. 3503(g)(1)(B)).

(2) INCLUSION.—For purposes of paragraph
19
(1), North Carolina Highway 210 and New River
20
Inlet Road shall be considered to meet the criteria
21
described in section 4(g)(1)(B)(i) of the Coastal
22
Barrier Resources Act (16 U.S.C. 3503(g)(1)(B)(i)).
