SHORT TITLE. 1 This Act may be cited as the ‘‘National Right-to- 2 Work Act’’. 3 SEC. 2. AMENDMENTS TO THE NATIONAL LABOR RELA- 4 TIONS ACT. 5 (a) Section 7 of the National Labor Relations Act (29 6 U.S.C. 157) is amended by striking ‘‘except to’’ and all 7 that follows through ‘‘authorized in section 8(a)(3)’’. 8 (b) Section 8(a)(3) of the National Labor Relations 9 Act (29 U.S.C. 158(a)(3)) is amended by striking ‘‘: Pro- 10 vided, That’’ and all that follows through ‘‘retaining mem- 11 bership’’. 12 (c) Section 8(b) of the National Labor Relations Act 13 (29 U.S.C. 158(b)) is amended— 14 (1) in paragraph (2), by striking ‘‘or to dis- 15 criminate’’ and all that follows through ‘‘retaining 16 membership’’; and 17 (2) in paragraph (5), by striking ‘‘covered by 18 an agreement authorized under subsection (a)(3)’’. 19 (d) Section 8(f) of the National Labor Relations Act 20 (29 U.S.C. 158(f)) is amended by striking paragraph (2) 21 and redesignating paragraphs (3) and (4) as paragraphs 22 (2) and (3), respectively. 23 VerDate Sep 11 2014 05:03 May 14, 2019 Jkt 089200 PO 00000 Frm 00002 Fmt 6652 Sfmt 6201 \\ALPHA3\E\BILLS\H2571.IH H2571 kjohnson on DSK79L0C42 with BILLS 3 •HR 2571 IH SEC. 3.
