Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representa- 1 tives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, 2 SECTION 1. SENSE OF CONGRESS. 1 It is the sense of Congress that— 2 (1) the Muslim Brotherhood meets the criteria 3 for designation as a foreign terrorist organization 4 under section 219 of the Immigration and Nation- 5 ality Act (8 U.S.C. 1189); and 6 (2) the Secretary of State, in consultation with 7 the Attorney General and the Secretary of the 8 Treasury, should exercise the Secretary of State’s 9 statutory authority by designating the Muslim 10 Brotherhood as a foreign terrorist organization. 11 SEC. 3.
