Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representa- 1 tives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, 2 SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE. 3 This Act may be cited as the ‘‘End-of-Year Fiscal Re- 4 sponsibility Act’’. 5 SEC. 2. DEFINITIONS. 6 In this Act: 7 (1) COVERED PERIOD.—The term ‘‘covered pe- 8 riod’’ means the 2-month period immediately pre- 9 ceding the end of a fiscal year. 10 VerDate Sep 11 2014 04:32 May 02, 2019 Jkt 089200 PO 00000 Frm 00001 Fmt 6652 Sfmt 6201 E:\BILLS\S1238.IS S1238 kjohnson on DSK79L0C42 with BILLS 2 •S 1238 IS (2) DISCRETIONARY APPROPRIATIONS.—The 1 term ‘‘discretionary appropriations’’ has the mean- 2 ing given the term in section 250(c) of the Balanced 3 Budget and Emergency Deficit Control Act of 1985 4 (2 U.S.C. 900(c)). 5 (3) EXECUTIVE AGENCY.—The term ‘‘Executive 6 agency’’ has the meaning given the term in section 7 105 of title 5, United States Code. 8 SEC. 3.
