that a spouse must be at least 18 years of age, and
for other purposes.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representa-

tives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,

SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE.

This Act may be cited as the ‘‘Stop Harmful Adoles-
4
cent Marriage Act of 2019’’.

SEC. 2. AGE REQUIREMENT FOR SPOUSES.

Section 101(a)(35) of the Immigration and Nation-
7
ality Act (8 U.S.C. 1101(a)(35)) is amended by inserting
