SHORT TITLE. 1 This Act may be cited as the ‘‘War Crimes Rewards 2 Expansion Act’’. 3 SEC. 2. DEPARTMENT OF STATE REWARDS PROGRAM. 4 Paragraph (10) of section 36(b) of the State Depart- 5 ment Basic Authorities Act of 1956 (22 U.S.C. 2708(b)) 6 is amended by striking ‘‘defined under the statute of such 7 tribunal;’’ and inserting the following: ‘‘defined under— 8 ‘‘(A) the statute of such country or tri- 9 bunal, as the case may be; or 10 ‘‘(B) United States law;’’. 11 Passed the House of Representatives December 3, 2020.
