by a lapse in appropriations.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representa-

tives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,

SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE.

This Act may be cited as the ‘‘Federal Contract
4
Worker Fairness Act’’.

SEC. 2. COMPENSATION FOR FEDERAL CONTRACTORS.

Each Federal contract worker impacted by a lapse
7
in appropriations in the Federal Government shall receive
8
compensation.
