A BILL
To amend the Wild and Scenic Rivers Act to make technical
corrections to the segment designations for the Chetco
River, Oregon.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representa-

tives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,

SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE.
3
This Act may be cited as the ‘‘Chetco River Protec-
4
tion Act of 2019’’.
5
SEC. 2. TECHNICAL CORRECTIONS TO THE WILD AND SCE-
6
NIC RIVERS ACT.
7
Section 3(a)(69) of the Wild and Scenic Rivers Act
8
(16 U.S.C. 1274(a)(69)) is amended—

WITHDRAWAL.—Subject
to
valid

rights, the Federal land within the boundaries

of the river segments designated by subpara-

graph (A) is withdrawn from all forms of—
4
‘‘(i) entry, appropriation, or disposal
5
under the public land laws;
6
‘‘(ii) location, entry, and patent under
7
the mining laws; and
8
‘‘(iii) disposition under all laws per-
9
taining to mineral and geothermal leasing
10
or mineral materials.’’.
