Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representa- 1 tives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, 2 SECTION 1. INTERIM APPROPRIATIONS FOR THE COAST GUARD 1 RETIRED SERVICEMAN’S FAMILY PROTEC- 2 TION AND SURVIVOR BENEFITS PLANS. 3 (a) IN GENERAL.—There are hereby appropriated, 4 out of any money in the Treasury not otherwise appro- 5 priated, for each fiscal year after fiscal year 2018, such 6 sums as necessary for payment of the Coast Guard Re- 7 tired Serviceman’s Family Protection and Survivor Bene- 8 fits Plans, as are described in the provision regarding 9 Coast Guard retired pay in title II of division F of the 10 Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2018 (Public Law 115– 11 141; 132 Stat. 348), at a rate for operations and under 12 the terms and conditions provided by the most recent law 13 making full-year appropriations for such Coast Guard Re- 14 tired Serviceman’s Family Protection and Survivor Bene- 15 fits Plans. 16 (b) EFFECT OF ENACTMENT OF SUBSEQUENT AP- 17 PROPRIATIONS.—If an appropriation for such Coast 18 Guard Retired Serviceman’s Family Protection and Sur- 19 vivor Benefits Plans, or a general appropriation bill pro- 20 viding appropriations for the Coast Guard without provi- 21 sion for such Coast Guard Retired Serviceman’s Family 22 Protection and Survivor Benefits Plans, is enacted into 23 law on any date after the date of the enactment of this 24 Act that provides for appropriations during a fiscal year 25 VerDate Sep 11 2014 22:12 Feb 06, 2019 Jkt 089200 PO 00000 Frm 00002 Fmt 6652 Sfmt 6201 E:\BILLS\H847.IH H847 kjohnson on DSK79L0C42 with BILLS 3 •HR 847 IH following the expenditure of funds during such fiscal year 1 pursuant to this Act— 2 (1) such expenditure shall be charged to such 3 appropriation (if any); and 4 (2) appropriations made available for such fis- 5 cal year pursuant to this Act shall not be available 6 after the date of enactment of such appropriation or 7 general appropriation bill. 8 Æ VerDate Sep 11 2014 22:12 Feb 06, 2019 Jkt 089200 PO 00000 Frm 00003 Fmt 6652 Sfmt 6301 E:\BILLS\H847.IH H847 kjohnson on DSK79L0C42 with BILLS
