To require FERC to examine certain hydropower licences.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representa-

tives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,

SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE.

This Act may be cited as the ‘‘Commonsense Flood

Prevention Act’’.

SEC.
2.
EXAMINATION
OF
LICENSES
FOR
CERTAIN
6
PROJECTS LOCATED IN DISASTER AREAS.

Not later than one year after the date of enactment
8
of this Act, the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission
9
shall examine each license issued by the Commission under
10
part I of the Federal Power Act for the following projects:
