A BILL
To adjust the boundary of the Kennesaw Mountain National
Battlefield Park to include the Wallis House and
Harriston Hill, and for other purposes.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representa-

tives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,

SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE.

This Act may be cited as the ‘‘Kennesaw Mountain
4
National Battlefield Park Boundary Adjustment Act’’.
5
SEC. 2. DEFINITIONS.

In this section:

(1) MAP.—The term ‘‘map’’ means the map en-
8
titled ‘‘Kennesaw Mountain National Battlefield

(2) PARK.—The term ‘‘Park’’ means the Ken-

nesaw Mountain National Battlefield Park.

(3) SECRETARY.—The term ‘‘Secretary’’ means
5
the Secretary of the Interior.

SEC. 3. KENNESAW MOUNTAIN NATIONAL BATTLEFIELD

PARK BOUNDARY ADJUSTMENT.

(a) BOUNDARY ADJUSTMENT.—The boundary of the
9
Park is modified to include the approximately 8 acres of
10
land or interests in land identified as ‘‘Wallis House and
11
Harriston Hill’’, as generally depicted on the map.

(b) MAP.—The map shall be on file and available for
13
inspection in the appropriate offices of the National Park
14
Service.

(c) LAND ACQUISITION.—The Secretary may acquire
16
land or interests in land described in subsection (a) by
17
donation, purchase from willing sellers, or exchange.
18
(d) ADMINISTRATION
OF ACQUIRED LAND.—The
19
Secretary shall administer land and interests in land ac-
20
quired under this Act as part of the Park in accordance
21
with applicable laws (including regulations).
