Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representa- 1 tives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, 2 SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE. 3 This Act may be cited as the ‘‘Pay Our Coast Guard 4 Act of 2019’’. 5 SEC. 2. CONTINUING APPROPRIATIONS FOR MEMBERS OF 6 THE COAST GUARD. 7 There are hereby appropriated for fiscal year 2019, 8 out of any money in the Treasury not otherwise appro- 9 priated, for any period during which interim or full-year 10 appropriations for the Coast Guard are not in effect— 11 VerDate Sep 11 2014 01:44 Jan 09, 2019 Jkt 089200 PO 00000 Frm 00001 Fmt 6652 Sfmt 6201 E:\BILLS\H350.IH H350 pbinns on DSK79D2C42PROD with BILLS 2 •HR 350 IH (1) such sums as are necessary to provide pay 1 and allowances to members of the Coast Guard (as 2 described in section 1 of title 14, United States 3 Code), including the reserve component thereof, who 4 perform active service or inactive-duty training dur- 5 ing such period; 6 (2) such sums as are necessary to provide pay 7 and allowances to civilian employees of the Coast 8 Guard; 9 (3) such sums as are necessary to provide pay 10 and allowances to contractors of the Coast Guard; 11 and 12 (4) such sums as are necessary for— 13 (A) the payment of a death gratuity under 14 sections 1475 through 1477 and 1489 of title 15 10, United States Code, with respect to mem- 16 bers of the Coast Guard; 17 (B) the payment or reimbursement of au- 18 thorized funeral travel and travel related to the 19 dignified transfer of remains and unit memorial 20 services under section 481f of title 37, United 21 States Code, with respect to members of the 22 Coast Guard; and 23 (C) the temporary continuation of a basic 24 allowance of housing for dependents of mem- 25 VerDate Sep 11 2014 01:44 Jan 09, 2019 Jkt 089200 PO 00000 Frm 00002 Fmt 6652 Sfmt 6201 E:\BILLS\H350.IH H350 pbinns on DSK79D2C42PROD with BILLS 3 •HR 350 IH bers of the Coast Guard dying on active duty, 1 as authorized by section 403(l) of title 37, 2 United States Code. 3 SEC. 3.
