which was read twice and referred to the Committee on Energy and Nat-
ural Resources
A BILL
To include Livingston County, the city of Jonesboro in Union
County, and the city of Freeport in Stephenson County,
Illinois, to the Lincoln National Heritage Area, and for
other purposes.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representa-

tives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,

SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE.

This Act may be cited as the ‘‘Abraham Lincoln Na-
4
tional Heritage Area Amendment Act’’.

SEC. 2. ADJUSTMENT OF BOUNDARIES OF LINCOLN NA-

TIONAL HERITAGE AREA.

(a) BOUNDARY ADJUSTMENT.—Section 443(b)(1) of
3
the Consolidated Natural Resources Act of 2008 (Public
4
Law 110–229; 16 U.S.C. 461 note) is amended—
5
(1) by inserting ‘‘, Livingston,’’ after ‘‘La-
6
Salle’’; and
7
(2) by inserting ‘‘, the city of Jonesboro in
8
Union County, and the city of Freeport in Stephen-
9
son County’’ after ‘‘Woodford counties’’.
10
(b) MAP.—The Secretary of the Interior shall update
11
the map referred to in section 443(b)(2) of the Consoli-
12
dated Natural Resources Act of 2008 to reflect the bound-
13
ary adjustment made by the amendments in subsection (a)
14
of this section.
