LIMITATION ON TREATMENT OF NONNATIVE SPE- 1 CIES IN THE UNITED STATES AS ENDAN- 2 GERED SPECIES OR THREATENED SPECIES. 3 (a) LIMITATION.—Section 13 of the Endangered Spe- 4 cies Act of 1973 (relating to amendments to other laws, 5 which have executed) is amended to read as follows: 6 ‘‘LIMITATION ON TREATMENT OF CERTAIN SPECIES AS 7 ENDANGERED SPECIES OR THREATENED SPECIES 8 ‘‘SEC. 13. (a) LIMITATION.—The species described in 9 subsection (b) shall not be treated as endangered species 10 or threatened species for purposes of this Act. 11 ‘‘(b) COVERED SPECIES.—The species referred to in 12 subsection (a) are species in the United States that are 13 not native to the United States.’’. 14 (b) CONFORMING AMENDMENT.—The table of con- 15 tents in the first section of such Act is amended by strik- 16 ing the item relating to section 13 and inserting the fol- 17 lowing: 18 ‘‘Sec. 13. Limitation on treatment of certain species as endangered species or threatened species.’’.
