A BILL
To authorize major medical facility projects of the
Department of Veterans Affairs for fiscal year 2021.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representa-

tives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,

SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE.

This Act may be cited as the ‘‘Major Medical Facility
4
Authorization Act of 2021’’.

SEC. 2. AUTHORIZATION OF MAJOR MEDICAL FACILITY
6
PROJECTS OF DEPARTMENT OF VETERANS
7
AFFAIRS FOR FISCAL YEAR 2021.

(a) IN GENERAL.—The Secretary of Veterans Affairs
9
may carry out the following major medical facility projects

in fiscal year 2021 at the locations specified and in an

amount for each project not to exceed the amount speci-
2
fied for such location:

(1) Construction of an outpatient clinic and na-
4
tional cemetery in Alameda, California, in an
5
amount not to exceed $266,200,000.
6
(2) Construction of a new specialty care build-
7
ing 201 in American Lake, Washington, in an
8
amount not to exceed $110,600,000.
9
(3) Construction of a community living center
10
and renovation of domiciliary and outpatient facili-
11
ties in Canandaigua, New York, in an amount not
12
to exceed $383,741,000.
13
(4) Construction of a spinal cord injury center
14
in Dallas, Texas, in an amount not to exceed
15
$249,000,000.
16
(5) Realignment and closure of the Livermore
17
Campus in Livermore, California, in an amount not
18
to exceed $455,000,000.
19
(6) Seismic corrections to the mental health
20
and community living center in Long Beach, Cali-
21
fornia, in an amount not to exceed $367,300,000.

(7) Construction of a spinal cord injury build-
23
ing with a community living center, including a

amount not to exceed $252,100,000.

(b) AUTHORIZATION OF APPROPRIATIONS.—There is

authorized to be appropriated to the Secretary of Veterans
4
Affairs for fiscal year 2021 or the year in which funds
5
are appropriated for the Construction, Major Projects ac-
6
count, $2,083,941,000 for the projects authorized in sub-
7
section (a).
