To amend title 10, United States Code, to prohibit the rescis-
sion of a military decoration except under certain cir-
cumstances.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representa-

tives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,

SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE.

This Act may be cited as the ‘‘Stop Cancel Culture
4
from Degrading Honor Act’’.

SEC. 2. PROHIBITION OF RESCISSION OF A MILITARY

DECORATION EXCEPT UNDER CERTAIN CIR-
2
CUMSTANCES.

Section 1136 of title 10, United States Code, is
4
amended—
5
(1) by inserting ‘‘(a) IN GENERAL.—’’ before
6
‘‘No’’; and
7
(2) by adding at the end the following new sub-
8
section:

‘‘(b) RESCISSION OF MILITARY DECORATION: PROHI-
10
BITION; EXCEPTIONS.—The Secretary concerned may not
11
rescind the award of a military decoration described in
12
subsection (a) after the day that is 10 years after the date
13
of such award except in the following circumstances:
14
‘‘(1) Such award was based on fraud or other
15
misinformation.
16
‘‘(2) The individual awarded such decoration is
17
prohibited from interment or memorialization in the
18
National Cemetery Administration or Arlington Na-
19
tional Cemetery under section 2411 of title 38.’’.
