Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representa-

tives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,
2
SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE.
3
This Act may be cited as the ‘‘State Antitrust Enforce-
4
ment Venue Act of 2022’’.
5
SEC. 2. AMENDMENTS.
6
Section 1407 of title 28 of the United States Code is
7
amended—
8
(1) in subsection (g) by inserting ‘‘or a State’’
9
after ‘‘United States’’, and
10
(2) by striking subsection (h).
11
SEC. 3. EFFECTIVE DATE.
12
This Act and the amendments made by this Act, shall
13
take effect on June 1, 2021.
14
Amend the title so as to read: ‘‘A bill to promote
competition by preventing the transfer of actions arising
under the antitrust laws in which a State is a complain-
ant.’’.
