Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representa- 1 tives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, 2 SECTION 1. ANNUAL PERMIT FOR A VETERANS SERVICE ORGA- 1 NIZATION TO USE PENTAGON PARKING LOT 2 FOR VETERAN-LED REMEMBRANCE MOTOR- 3 CYCLE RIDE. 4 (a) PERMIT REQUIRED.—The Secretary of Defense 5 shall permit a VSO to use the parking lot at the Pentagon 6 as a staging area for the event. 7 (b) DATE OF EVENT.—The event shall be held each 8 year on a date determined by such VSO on condition that 9 the VSO submits a notification of use to the Secretary 10 not later than January 31 of each year the event takes 11 place. 12 (c) LENGTH OF ACCESS.—The Secretary shall permit 13 the VSO to use the parking lot for the period of the event 14 indicated in the notification under subsection (b) and the 15 two hours preceding such period. 16 (d) EXPENSES AND LIABILITIES.—The VSO shall as- 17 sume full responsibility for all expenses and liabilities aris- 18 ing from any activities relating to the event. 19 (e) ADDITIONAL ARRANGEMENTS.—The Secretary 20 may make additional arrangements that may be required 21 to carry out this Act. 22 (f) DEFINITIONS.—In this Act— 23 (1) The term ‘‘event’’ means the ‘‘Rolling to 24 Remember’’ Memorial Day Remembrance Ride. 25 VerDate Sep 11 2014 23:48 Jun 10, 2021 Jkt 019200 PO 00000 Frm 00002 Fmt 6652 Sfmt 6201 E:\BILLS\H3103.IH H3103 kjohnson on DSK79L0C42PROD with BILLS 3 •HR 3103 IH (2) The term ‘‘VSO’’ means a veterans service 1 organization recognized under section 5902 of title 2 38, United States Code. 3 Æ VerDate Sep 11 2014 23:48 Jun 10, 2021 Jkt 019200 PO 00000 Frm 00003 Fmt 6652 Sfmt 6301 E:\BILLS\H3103.IH H3103 kjohnson on DSK79L0C42PROD with BILLS
