A BILL
To reauthorize, and increase the total funding cap for, the
America’s Agricultural Heritage Partnership, to redesig-
nate the America’s Agricultural Heritage Partnership as
the ‘‘Silos & Smokestacks National Heritage Area’’, and
for other purposes.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representa-

tives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,

SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE.

This Act may be cited as the ‘‘Protecting the Silos
4
& Smokestacks National Heritage Area Act’’.

HERITAGE PARTNERSHIP.

(a) REAUTHORIZATION.—Section 707 of division II
3
of the Omnibus Parks and Public Lands Management Act
4
of 1996 (54 U.S.C. 320101 note; Public Law 104–333;
5
110 Stat. 4267; 127 Stat. 420; 128 Stat. 3801) is amend-
6
ed by striking ‘‘2021’’ and inserting ‘‘2031’’.

FUNDING
CAP.—Section

708(a) of division II of the Omnibus Parks and Public
9
Lands Management Act of 1996 (54 U.S.C. 320101 note;
10
Public Law 104–333; 110 Stat. 4267; 122 Stat. 824; 134
11
Stat. 1505) is amended, in the second sentence, by strik-
12
ing ‘‘$17,000,000’’ and inserting ‘‘$23,000,000’’.

SEC. 3. REDESIGNATION OF HERITAGE AREA.

(a) REDESIGNATION.—The America’s Agricultural
15
Heritage Partnership established by section 703 of divi-
16
sion II of the Omnibus Parks and Public Lands Manage-
17
ment Act of 1996 (Public Law 104–333; 110 Stat. 4266)
18
shall be known and designated as the ‘‘Silos & Smoke-
19
stacks National Heritage Area’’.

(b) REFERENCES.—Any reference in a law, map, reg-
21
ulation, document, paper, or other record of the United
22
States to the heritage area referred to in subsection (a)
23
shall be deemed to be a reference to the ‘‘Silos & Smoke-
24
stacks National Heritage Area’’.
