For the relief of Lucio Enrique Perez Ortiz, Dora Gonzalez
Santizo, and Edvin Oriany Perez Gonzalez.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representa-

tives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,

SECTION 1. PERMANENT RESIDENT STATUS FOR LUCIO
3
ENRIQUE PEREZ ORTIZ, DORA GONZALEZ
4
SANTIZO, AND EDVIN ORIANY PEREZ GON-
5
ZALEZ.
6
(a) IN GENERAL.—Notwithstanding subsections (a)
7
and (b) of section 201 of the Immigration and Nationality
8
Act, Lucio Enrique Perez Ortiz, Dora Gonzalez Santizo,
9
and Edvin Oriany Perez Gonzalez shall be eligible for

issuance of an immigrant visa or for adjustment of status
1
to that of an alien lawfully admitted for permanent resi-
2
dence upon filing an application for issuance of an immi-
3
grant visa under section 204 of such Act or for adjustment
4
of status to lawful permanent resident.

(b) ADJUSTMENT
OF
STATUS.—Notwithstanding
6
subsections (a) and (b) of section 201 of the Immigration
7
and Nationality Act, if Lucio Enrique Perez Ortiz, Dora
8
Gonzalez Santizo, or Edvin Oriany Perez Gonzalez enters
9
the United States before the filing deadline specified in
10
subsection (c), he or she shall be considered to have en-
11
tered and remained lawfully and shall, if otherwise eligible,
12
be eligible for adjustment of status under section 245 of
13
the Immigration and Nationality Act as of the date of the
14
enactment of this Act.
15
(c) WAIVER OF GROUNDS FOR REMOVAL OR DENIAL
16
OF ADMISSION.—
17
(1) IN
GENERAL.—Notwithstanding sections
18
212(a) and 237(a) of the Immigration and Nation-
19
ality Act, Lucio Enrique Perez Ortiz, Dora Gonzalez
20
Santizo, and Edvin Oriany Perez Gonzalez may not
21
be removed from the United States, denied admis-
22
sion to the United States, or considered ineligible for
23
lawful permanent residence in the United States by
24
reason of any ground for removal or denial of admis-

sion that is reflected in the records of the Depart-
1
ment of Homeland Security or the Visa Office of the
2
Department of State on the date of the enactment
3
of this Act.

(2) RECESSION
OF
OUTSTANDING
ORDER
OF
5
REMOVAL.—The Secretary of Homeland Security
6
shall rescind any outstanding order of removal or de-
7
portation, or any finding of inadmissibility or de-
8
portability, that has been entered against Lucio
9
Enrique Perez Ortiz, Dora Gonzalez Santizo, or
10
Edvin Oriany Perez Gonzalez by reason of any
11
ground described in paragraph (1).

(d) DEADLINE FOR APPLICATION AND PAYMENT OF
13
FEES.—Subsections (a) and (b) shall apply only if the ap-
14
plication for issuance of an immigrant visa or the applica-
15
tion for adjustment of status is filed with appropriate fees
16
within 2 years after the date of the enactment of this Act.
17
(e) REDUCTION
OF IMMIGRANT VISA NUMBER.—
18
Upon the granting of an immigrant visa or permanent res-
19
idence to Lucio Enrique Perez Ortiz, Dora Gonzalez
20
Santizo, and Edvin Oriany Perez Gonzalez, the Secretary
21
of State shall instruct the proper officer to reduce by 3,
22
during the current or next following fiscal year, the total
23
number of immigrant visas that are made available to na-
24
tives of the country of the alien’s birth under section

203(a) of the Immigration and Nationality Act or, if appli-

cable, the total number of immigrant visas that are made

available to natives of the country of the alien’s birth

under section 202(e) of such Act.
