Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure
A BILL
To prohibit the Secretary of Transportation from imple-
menting a congestion pricing program until an economic
impact analysis is completed and made available to the
public, and for other purposes.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representa-

tives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,

SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE.

This Act may be cited as the ‘‘Economic Impact of
4
Tolling Act’’.

SEC. 2. RESTRICTION ON IMPLEMENTATION OF CONGES-

TION PRICING PROGRAM.

The Secretary of Transportation may not implement,
3
or authorize the implementation of, a congestion pricing
4
program for any toll road, bridge, or tunnel until the date
5
on which an economic impact analysis is completed and
6
such analysis is made available to the public.
